Interview with Mr. Aldo Cano, training event
On December 9, First Aid for Mental Health and Hygiene training was carried out in Elmhurst Hospital (79-01 Broadway, Room 1A) Elmhurst NY 11373.
Likewise, the event coordinators Cruz S. Torres Cano Healthcare Education Project and Aldo Cano Coordinator & Training Specialist. The 48 participants received an arduous training from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. subsequently receiving their mental health first aid certificates.
Event where, in addition to sharing emotional experiences, participants had practices among themselves and learned how to deal with people who have this condition. The invited organizations were: Caring & Loving Foundation and Hispanic Community Center, its director Mariana López is a professional with extensive experience and recognized in the branches of Psychotherapist, Mental Health Consultant and Social Worker.
